Every place on the map has a price. It is smaller than you think.
Nobody holds it? Two dollars. Somebody does? One dollar more than the tariff sitting on it now.
Your name is what the map shows. To everybody. That is the whole product.
No timer, no closing bell, no going once. You hold it until somebody pays more.
Every claimable place on earth carries a tariff. An untouched one opens at a dollar, which means the first person through the door pays $2. After that the minimum is whatever it says now, plus one.
Whole dollars only. No cents, no fractions, no haggling. You can pay far more than the minimum, and people do, because the number you pay is the number the next person has to beat.
Homes are not on the map. Residential addresses are not claimable, not searchable and not displayed, and trying to point at one from a nearby landmark is treated as harassment.
You are not buying land. You are buying the label on it, printed across the map for as long as you can hold the place.
Every name is read before it goes public. Rude about a country is fine. Rude about a politician is fine. Aimed at a real private person, or at a group because of who they are, is gone, and the money stays gone. The Moderation Policy spells out the line.
Naming a city after your company is allowed. It always has been. Buy a place, call it after your business, your band or your product. What does not go in the name is a link. Every claim gets its own link field, and that is where a link belongs.
One rule runs the entire world: at every level, the highest influence owns the place. Your influence on a place is the total tariff of every claim you are currently holding on it and on everything underneath it.
So a car park in Ensenada counts toward Ensenada. And toward Baja California. And toward Mexico, and toward North America. Buy enough cities and the country drops out of the arithmetic. You never tariffed the country. You just ended up holding it.
Take a place this way and you inherit whatever name it was already wearing, and renaming it costs you nothing. You paid underneath. Places somebody bought outright are harder: your influence has to beat what they actually paid, not match it. A draw keeps the incumbent.
Influence follows what you are holding right now. Never what you have ever spent.
Lose one city and its tariff leaves your total everywhere above it, all the way to the top. That can drop you behind the person in second place on the country. And on the continent. In the same second, without anybody going near either of them.
Money spent on territory you have since lost buys you nothing. That is the cruel part, and it is completely deliberate.
Some places are grouped into sets. Wonders of the world. Everywhere he has renamed, or said out loud he wants. Hold every piece of a set at the same time and the crown is yours.
It is not a badge and nobody awards it. It is a live fact about the world, scored from who holds what this second, so it breaks the moment one piece changes hands. Somebody buying a city underneath a member is enough to take it off you. The sets are listed on Empires Up For Grabs.
There is no registration form and nothing to fill in before you play. Browsing, searching and looking at any place on earth needs no account at all. The account arrives with your first claim.
And there is never a password. Not a strong one, not a forgotten one, not one at all. To get back in you ask for a link, we email it, you click it. That is the entire sign-in. Ask for one here.
Every place you hold carries your name, and it carries your link. Set a company name, a logo and one address in your account and they ride along on everything you tariff. Override any of it on a single place if that place deserves its own pitch.
Every claimed place is its own page, with its own title, its own share card and its own URL that search engines index. Hold ten places and you have ten pages pointing at you.
Hold a paid claim and your link is marked sponsored. Otherwise it is
nofollow. Both send real people to your site, which is the part that pays.
We will not pretend otherwise to a search engine. You bought a placement, the markup says you bought a placement, and that is what keeps the whole board out of trouble. Anyone selling you a dofollow link for two dollars is selling you a penalty.
Advertise by name all you like. Links live in their own field rather than in the name, and what they point at gets looked at. See the moderation policy.
Renaming a place here changes nothing anywhere else. No deed, no atlas, no council, no post office, no border. TrumpIt is an independent parody and entertainment brand, and nothing on it transfers real-world property, authority or naming rights over any actual place. It is a joke somebody paid for.
