Parody notice

TrumpIt is an independent parody and entertainment brand. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization, or any government entity. Every name on the map is a joke somebody paid for. Nothing on this site transfers real-world property, authority or naming rights over any actual place.

Read this before you pay. A claim is delivered the instant your name goes live. There is no minimum reign. Being outbid ten seconds later is the game working exactly as designed, and it is not refundable.

What you are paying for

A claim buys temporary naming and display placement inside TrumpIt. It is delivered the moment your name appears on the map. It is digital content, consumed immediately, and it carries no guaranteed duration, no guaranteed impressions and no residual value.

Where the law gives you a cancellation or cooling-off right for digital content, you are asking us to begin supply immediately at the point you confirm a claim, and you acknowledge that you lose that cancellation right once supply begins. Nothing here removes a mandatory statutory right you have where you live.

We do refund

You were charged and the claim never went live. Any payment captured without a corresponding active claim is refunded automatically - our reconciliation job looks for exactly this, and money is never left captured without a claim behind it.
You lost the race. If someone outbid you between you pressing pay and the claim being written, you are not charged at all. If a charge slipped through, it is refunded in full.
Duplicate charge. Two charges for one claim: the extra is refunded.
Our fault. A bug, an outage or a mistake on our side that stopped your name displaying at all.
We removed your name in error. If an appeal shows we moderated wrongly and the claim cannot be reinstated, it is refunded.
Unauthorised payment. A card used without the cardholder's permission is refunded and the account is suspended.

We do not refund

Being outbid - however fast. There is no minimum reign, and a short one is not a fault.
Changing your mind after the name goes live.
Buyer's remorse about the amount. You set the tariff; the minimum is shown before you pay.
Losing a place through the influence cascade - someone building up more influence beneath a territory and taking it from you is the central mechanic.
Names removed for breaching the Moderation Policy or the Terms of Service.
Accounts suspended or banned for fraud, abuse or payment disputes.
Free claims - there is nothing to refund.

How to ask

Email support@trumpit.lol from the address on the account, within 60 days of the charge, with the place, the time and what went wrong. We aim to respond within 3 business days and to process approved refunds within 10 business days. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe; your bank sets the timing after that.

Chargebacks

Please talk to us first - it is faster. A chargeback raised without contacting us may result in suspension of the account and removal of associated claims while it is investigated, and repeated chargeback abuse is a permanent ban.

A refund removes the benefits it bought

Refunding a paid claim removes what that claim earned, including its influence, its place in the historical record and any do-follow status on your profile link. That is computed live from your active paid claims, so it revokes itself the moment the refund lands.

This policy sits alongside the Terms of Service, which govern where the two disagree.
