Parody notice

TrumpIt is an independent parody and entertainment brand. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization, or any government entity. Every name on the map is a joke somebody paid for. Nothing on this site transfers real-world property, authority or naming rights over any actual place.

The line, plainly. Rude about a country? Fine. Rude about a politician? Fine. Aimed at a real private person, or at a group because of who they are? Gone, and the money stays gone. Every name is reviewed before it goes public.

Every name is reviewed

Names are screened before they appear publicly, and screening happens before a payment is captured wherever that is technically possible. A name held for review is not live, and a name rejected at review is not charged.

Not allowed

Slurs and hate - anything attacking or dehumanising people by race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious disease.
Threats and incitement - violence, wishes of harm, or encouragement of either.
Targeted harassment of a real, identifiable private individual.
Doxxing and personal information - real names of private individuals, home addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, workplaces, or any location used to point at a person.
Sexual content, and anything whatsoever sexualising a minor.
Impersonation - posing as a real person, brand, official body or as TrumpIt itself.
Illegal content, or content promoting serious criminal activity.
Links in a name - web addresses, referral codes or anything else whose job is to send people somewhere. Names are for names. Every claim gets a separate link field, and that is where a link belongs.

Allowed

Political satire, mockery and commentary about public figures and institutions.
Ordinary insults, absurdity, rudeness and bad jokes aimed at places, nations and public life.
Inside jokes, band names, your cat's name, mild profanity used as decoration rather than as a weapon.
Naming a place after your company. Buy a city and call it after your business, your band or your product. That is a legitimate use of the game, not spam.

The distinction we apply is target and intent. Satire pointed upward at power is the entire premise of the site. Content pointed downward at a private person is not.

Your link

Every claim can carry a link alongside the name, and you can set a default on your account so you do not retype it for every place you hold. Advertising through it is fine. That is what it is for.

Links are http or https only, and are moderated the same way names are.
Where a link points is your responsibility. Everything in this policy applies to the page at the other end, not only to the words you typed. A clean name pointing at something that breaks these rules breaks these rules.
Malware, phishing, scams, deceptive redirects and link shorteners that hide the destination are removed on sight, and the account with them.
A link removed at review does not remove the claim. You keep the place and the name; the link goes.

Paid claims get a followed link. Unpaid ones do not. That is a spam control, not a favour, and it is computed live: if a claim is refunded or removed, the link stops being followed with it.

Private places are off the map

Residential addresses are not claimable, not searchable and not displayed, whatever a name says. Attempting to route around that - naming a nearby landmark to point at a house, for example - is treated as targeted harassment.

What happens when something breaks the rules

Name removed. The claim is deactivated and the place reverts.
No refund. A claim removed for breaching this policy is not refunded - see the Refund Policy.
Account action. Repeat or severe breaches lead to suspension or a permanent ban.
Escalation. Credible threats and content involving minors are reported to the relevant authorities.

We may also remove or hide a name where we are legally required to, where it exposes us or a third party to real risk, or where a rights holder makes a valid complaint.

Reporting a name

Every public claim carries a Report control. Use it - it routes straight into the review queue with the claim attached. For urgent matters, or anything involving a threat or a minor, email legal@trumpit.lol with the location and what you saw.

Reports are reviewed by a human. We aim to action credible reports within 24 hours.

Appeals

If your name was removed and you believe that was wrong, reply to the removal email or write to legal@trumpit.lol within 30 days. A different reviewer looks at it. If we got it wrong, we reinstate the claim where possible, or refund it where it is not.

Automated tooling

Screening combines automated classification with human review. Automated systems get things wrong in both directions; that is what the appeal route is for. No account is permanently banned on an automated decision alone.

This policy sits alongside the Terms of Service, which govern where the two disagree.
